MONOSTRATO is a plaster-like, exterior coating with a rough or even, troweled finish. Thanks to its formulation of acrylic binders in water dispersion, sand and selected marble grains (max 1,5mm) it is possible to level uneven surfaces. It has excellent adhesion and resistance to atmospheric agents, maintaining at the same time, the vapour permeability of the support whilst also guaranteeing an excellent water repellence. The product prevents the formation of mould and algae. In the event that an even greater level of protection against mould and algae is needed, it is recommended to add the indicated additive STERYLPLUS to the product. MONOSTRATO AMALFI can be used as a finish on all types of wall surface and it is also suitable for use in thermal insulation facade systems. It has low odour levels, is non inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment. Ideal use Exterior walls. Surface preparation Surfaces must be thoroughly dry and mature, new plaster must be left to mature for at least 30 days to allow the complete carbonatation of the support. Carefully brush or strip the surface in order to remove any loose or flaking material; in the case of restoration works, water infiltrations or leakages must be repaired before application. Apply a coat of the indicated primer BLANKOR by OIKOS. Wait 6 ÷ 8 hours before applying the finish products.
