Description
In October 2012 we came back from Ecuador, after having built the biggest vertical garden of the American continent together with our cooperators of Greenstar, in a record period of a month and a half. It is a vertical ecosystem of 1,000 m2 spread over nine vertical gardens that surround a shopping center in Quito.
Paisajismo Urbano has made for this building not only external but also interior vertical gardens. 30,000 plants of 90 different species have been seeded. Among them, 60 species are local. Our partners of Greenstar have supported, with this project, the sustainable architecture that in one year will produce oxygen for 1,000 people and will trap 300 tones of harmful gases.
