A space-defining modern outdoor fireplace of generous and dramatic proportions. Kodo modern outdoor fireplace takes the simple, iconic hearth and pares it down to its essence in a clean, minimalist design—a 36” (914 mm) linear fire framed in a sculptural surround of seamless steel. The surround is square, 72”x72”x18”d (1829 x 1829 x 457), conveying mass and materiality and large enough to be a substantial space definer. The heart of Kodo is a natural gas or propane burner – 60,000 BTU/h (18 kW), available with electronic ignition or match-lit – a wide strip of flame that animates the structure, warming the surrounding area and playing light and movement across the solid surfaces of the fireplace. Kodo modern outdoor fireplace is available in Corten weathering steel for a rich, living patina, or in powder-coat for a pure, monolithic aesthetic. All of our modern outdoor fireplace burners are certified to the latest safety standards: CSA/ANSI in North America, and CE under the European Gas Regulation for the EU.
