Panelite™ Cast Polymer Series panels use the same honeycomb core technology as Laminated Series panels, but instead of using pre-fabricated facings laminated to the honeycomb, facings are cast directly onto the core. The casting process yields a rigid, self structural panel with an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and core-to-facing bond. At only 1.5 lbs per square foot, Panelite Cast Polymer Series panels are ideal for a wide range of interior applications including partitions, sliding or pivoting doors, backlit and feature walls as well as light load bearing applications such as tabletops, countertops, workstation surfaces or other furniture elements.
