Project Feature
150 Cheapside is a striking new landmark office development situated in the City of London, opposite St Paul’s Cathedral. Its sleek contemporary design of glass and Portland stone blends effortlessly with the history that surrounds it. The façade consists of 9,500 sqm (102,300 sq ft) curtain walling made of Portland stone, vertical stainless steel fins and horizontal shading panels with photovoltaic cells. The Cheapside elevation is a natural ventilated, double skin wall, of which the single glazed external skin is supported by steel rods. The technical design of the cladding panels was mainly driven by the exceptional width of 9 meters.
