A rectangle provides the starting point. As a formal translation of a functional principle, it de­-fines a frame within which the kitchen can be designed without constraints. Unlike the classic fitted kitchen, elements no longer need to be arranged side by side but can be positioned anywhere within the frame.

In various formats and individual additions, several frames create a modular system that permits a wide range of different uses. Wellbalanced proportions and dimensions in relation to space and the individual user create living environments which extend far beyond the kitchen as an area for working in.
