The small series of black and white furnishings by the Swedish group Front, which works on the interaction between two-dimensional decoration and object, are suitable for day areas as well as the bedroom. Soft and poetic decoration - flounce fabrics, regular square areas - cover three-dimensionally the surfaces of two furnishing items: a cupboard and a hanging horizontal cupboard with coplanar doors, designed not to forget emotions in furnishing. The optical effect of these black detailed designs, applied to doors, sides and tops of two modules in bleached wood creates a trompe l'oeil effect that makes softer the square forms with gentle fabrics and threads in movement. The cupboard is also available in black lacquered and white serigraph version.
