Custom designed for an end user in the UK, this order had several specified lengths with exact diameter and taper specs. Logs were custom selected for knot quality, growth rings and size. Pieces that did not make the stringent specifications were rejected during the manufacturing process and prior to shipping.
These are uniform diameter 12 turned poles sawn flat on the top and bottom. Shipped to Southeast Asia, these were used in a log home as a corner detail stacked on top of one another.
Shipped to California for use in the entrance of a hotel, the customer wanted a natural appearance. Powerwood has designed a process for removing the bark and cambium layers from a Western Red Cedar log while preserving the material underneath so that its natural characteristics can be shown.
