You want to protect your pool against leaves and other debris that pollute the water, ultraviolet light that damages the pool waterproofing and encourages algal growth and all the other inconveniences of winter. You also want to guard against accidental falls into frigid water: you need a HIVERLUX cover ! HIVERLUX is an opaque, PVC coated, reinforced woven polyester cover. A wide, reinforcing band around the edge protects the cover against wear and tear caused by abrasion. The underside of this band is beige to avoid any risk of staining the coping. Cleverly spaced perforations allow rain water to drain rapidly thus preventing the formation of water pockets. Step pieces and free-form covers feature additional perforations made in areas where water would tend to gather. Perforations are carefully sized to allow water to fi lter through while remaining impermeable to light. HIVERLUX covers are coated with PVC that is UV-proof and is immune to attack bychlorinated products. The bright, varnished surface is both attractive and stain and dirt repellent. The classic HIVERLUX cover is fi nished with double eyelets and fastened to the ground by means of a single peripheral bungee cord fastened at each double eyelet to an anchor bushing driven into the ground. This system ensures that the cover is fl attened evenly against the ground thus limiting fl apping and subsequent abrasion. The stainless steel anchoring pegs come with a fi tting that holds the bungee cord off the ground thus protecting it against wear and tear. Each HIVERLUX cover comes with its own storage bag.
