Contemporary armchair puntmobles DOMIGUEZ by M. Domiguez
Armchair designed in 1931 by the same architects, Carlos Arniches and Martín Dominguez, for Road Hostels, also used for the rooms in the Young Ladies' Residence (1933), appearing in photographs of the corridors in the twin pavilions, numbers 1 and 2, of the Students' Residence when it was used as a convalescent home during the Civil War. Straight lines and curves fuse in a piece related to the Anglo-American Arts and Crafts models (then known as the "Morris easy chairs"). The chair already had a markedly modern design, typical of its period and the rationalist atmosphere in which it was created. Reproduction of a period piece made in beech wood finished in its natural colour or stained in cherry, oak or wengé.
