With its sharp, modern lines and finishes, our Racine theatre chair also has a generously contoured backrest which offers exceptional comfort. Timber features are finished with rotary cut beech veneer, giving the chair a distinctly elegant appearance. Racine is compact when closed, making it ideal for venues who want to maximise capacity, or for heritage theatres where walkways can be narrow. Inside the back is a screwed plastic case, to allow fitting on foot. Panels in rotary cut, beech veneer, vertical grain, finished with 2 layers of polyurethane varnish, on faces and edges. CMHR polyurethane foam, density 25 to 30 kg/m3 glued on a plywood structure. SEAT PAN Width 41 cm. CMHR polyurethane foam, density 50 to 55 kg/m3, moulded onto a metal support. Seat tipping by means concealed in boxes, on either side of the seat and assembled on the pedestal.
