British design duo Ed Barber and Jay Osgerby designed not only the shape of SATELLITE but also chose 10 colour combinations. Alternatively, the customer can also select his/her own combination of colours. The modular design makes endless other lay-outs possible then shown in this price list. See next page.
The work of BarberOsgerby has been acquired by MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
Models:
The range offers endless possibilities. In fact any cabinet is a combination of modules. In our pricelist we present them as models, but in reality, there are many more possibilities.
The modular dimensions are: length = multiple of 67,5 cm, depth = 55 cm, corpus height = 25 / 58,5 / 75 cm (exception: 41.5 cm for bedside cabinet) and the height of the base = 20 cm or a MDF platform = 5 cm.
Colours:
* BarberOsgerby designed 10 different colour schemes especially for Satellite, see Satellite Colour Schemes PDF on the product pages of the Quodes website
* Or you can also choose any RAL or NCS colour by yourself for the corpus and each individual front panel.
* Base: powder coated in satin traffic white (RAL 9016). Other colours are possible with extra charge.
* Platform: its colour is usually the same as the corpus.
Materials:
* Corpus, shelves: lacquered MDF.
* Drawers: laminated MDF.
* Models on a base: powder coated aluminium/ steel, 20 cm high.
* Models on a platform: 28 mm MDF panel + several adjustable feet for uneven floors, approx. 4 cm high.
