Hexagon is a contemporary interpretation of a form, already known in ancient Greek geometry. Each side is set off 120° from its neighbors, allowing access from all directions, and giving the bookshelf or side table a different form depending on the angle from which it’s viewed. Stacked they produce a beautiful rotational symmetry, typical for the hexagon, which Nendo cleverly exploits. Made out of extruded aluminium and powdercoated steel, Hexagon can be used in all kinds of environments such as living rooms, bedrooms or even bathrooms. Hexagon is available as 72cm high storage cabinet and 178cm high version with optional rotating base. Standard colours are RAL7035 (light grey) and RAL9011 (graphite). Upon request other heights or colours.
