The Satellite programme was designed by British designers Barber Osgerby. They found their inspiration from the Modernist Movement and drew minimalist cabinet modules onto K-shaped metals sleds. The doors and drawers feature subtly sunken handles evokes something of the feel of mid-century furniture design. Over the years Satellite developed into a complete range with cabinets on a metal base, wooden legs or for wall mounting. Satellite on base is available in a wide variety of versions, such as side boards with a length of 135cm up to 270cm and 78,5 cm high. Or eye catching lowboards with a length of 202,5 and 270cm cm and height 45 cm. The smallest version is the bedside table, 45cm or 61,5 cm high. What started as a ‘cabinet object’ for Quodes’ initial collection developed over time into a complete range of storage solutions and interior objects. But still, each cabinet feels like a personal object due to it`s well chosen proportions and personal choice of colours. Satellite is now available on metal bases, wooden legs or for wall mounting. Customized versions upon request. Satellite on feet is available in 4 versions, a bedside cabinet which measures 50x50x50cm and 3 dresser versions. The small version has 2 doors and is 135cm wide+ the middle version has 3 drawers and 2 doors and is 202cm wide and the large version is 270cm wide and is fitted with 4 doors. All Dressers are 66,5cm high and 47cm deep.
