Lavagrigia is a rock typical of the Vitorchiano and Soriano nel Cimino areas in the province of Viterbo and of the Albani hills in the province of Rome. It represents the highest qualitative and aesthetic expression of peperino with its compact and hard properties. From the aesthetic standpoint, the material seems to narrate its centuries-old history, creating a strong and exciting impact. Its full and impenetrable colour meets any furnishing, facing and flooring challenge without limitations. Extraction from approximately 30-metre deep beds grants higher structural compactness, allowing it to be used in multiple and difficult building and urban furnishing constructions.
