Rintal’s wooden mezzanine was created to meet the needs of those who want to increase the square footage of their property by using its heights. For this reason, the line of wooden mezzanines has been designed for maximum functionality and versatility combined with a design that enhances the context in which it is inserted.
Wooden mezzanines: beauty and quality
For the line of wooden mezzanines we only select high quality materials which allow us to meet all design and aesthetic requirements. In the basic version, the beams and floorboards are made of pine wood, which Rintal selects by paying greater attention and care compared to other mezzanine manufacturing companies which instead use low quality materials.
In fact, the pine wood used by Rintal is free from deciduous knots and cracks, which are instead often simply grouted with the risk of them deteriorating over time.
Alternatively to pine wood, you can opt for beams and floorboards made of beech wood, a type of wood naturally more valuable and solid which also has the advantage of combining perfectly with the beech wood used for the production of stairs, making it easy to match the staircase to the mezzanine.
Great care is finally paid to the varnishing and the products used, both to coat the pine and beech wood. Rintal in fact uses only water-based, solvent-free products which have a low formaldehyde emission. These are applied in two coatings so as to make the surface more resistant to wear and to sunlight (UVA and UVB rays).
