Contemporary glass pendant lamp
ICSELLE H1 by D. Donegani & G. Lauda
Rotaliana
Being of a diameter of fifty centimetres, Icselle reproduces the shape of a PAR 56 halogen lamp on extra large scale. It is composed of a large lens made of transparent glass (realised with a pressing technique, and connoted by its hexagonal capshape texture), a reflector made of centrifuged glass; it is coated with a chrome, black or white finish. The two parts are solidly fastened to one another by means of an injection moulded polycarbonate ring. An embedded mat-finished diffuser distributes perfectly balanced and soft light through the lens. The white reflector diffuses the light in the room, while the black and chrome reflectors shed the light downwards.
