Lamp post SANTA COLE LAMPELUNAS by M. Lapeña
The Lampelunas street lamp is a large luminous structure designed for special areas. It comprises three or six spotlights arranged in an upward spiral with their corresponding reflectors. These pleasantly evoke the light of the moon by reflection.
This curious tree, made of lunar discs and pleasantly-reflected light, fits in naturally with the vegetation. It appeared in 1986 and broke with all urban lighting traditions known up to then. It started off a lighting system by reflection which, up to then, had only been used on smaller lamps and generally in interior spaces. When we refer to new ways of lighting public areas, the Lampelunas is a reference worthy of consideration.
This unit was first introduced more than 15 years ago but it is still very popular. This is shown by growing demand for it.
