In 2004 we are presenting the Schramm Woody edition by designer Jörg Nokel. Its simple and distinct form, characterized by the 50 mm strong multiplex core, lends Woody its special appeal. At the same time, the bed’s four matte aluminium feet provide an almost levitating lightness which constitute a delightful contrast. An interesting surface is the austere bamboo: although bamboo is an exotic wood species, it is also a renewable resource and, as such, environmentally friendly. As a matter of course, Woody is available in all the versions of the Schramm sleeping system.
