Straight lines in contrast to the opulent baroque and graceful
rococo: that is the Directoire style which established itself in
France around 1795. As a result of the French revolution, the
fate of the nation was controlled for a brief period of time by a
"Directory" that was elected by the people. As a stylistic period,
the “Directoire” is a continuation of the classical Louis XVI style.
A choice may be made between fifteen different colours.
