The Giano Umbrellastand, designed by Luisa Bocchietto for Serralunga, is part of the patio furniture sets sector, to fully enjoy outdoor living. It's basic shape is ever-changing and has a different appearance depending on the viewpoint and exposure. On closer inspection unexpected qualities are revealed. The round base shape transforms into ellipse at the upper edge. The object is perceived differently depending on the distance it is observed from. The special production system has made it possible to create a shape with apparent simplicity. Giano by Luisa Bocchietto is Serralunga's first non-pot object. A particular item of luxury furniture. Material: Made from LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) Production method: Rotational molding Suitable for outdoor use and all-weather resistant. UV protection, 100% recyclable material, solution dyed. High degree of mechanical strength and resistance to impacts. Resistant to temperatures, minus 35°C plus 80°C.
