Using two matching annealed bends, laminated bends are created by edge taping the 2 bends together and then injecting or pouring a resin laminate between the glasses and allowing it to cure. Once cured the bends are permanently laminated together and form a safety glass.
Applications: Shop fronts and revolving doors, screens, partitions, canopies and cabinets, as well as components for double glazed units, indeed any area where impact resistance is required. Also available on the thinner glasses is an acoustic laminate for areas where noise reduction is an issue.
