This module has a photoluminescent pigment (zinc sulphate) that is deposited on the back face of the rear glass so light absorbed during the day is emitted by both faces of the module at night. The photoluminescent effect lasts for several hours depending on the time the pigment is charged by the sun (it must be longer than 15 minutes) and the colour type of the pigment.
This new photoluminescent photovoltaic module has been designed to be a nocturnal decorative element in addition to a safety element in the event of a power cut. It provides an aesthetic value added to the facades of singular buildings, sports facilities, industrial units, shopping centres, etc.
As they can incorporate photoluminescent pigments with different colours and tones, they can be used to form different combinations, depending on decorative or safety needs.
