Tie d’ is called; anchoring any tended device being used to ensure stability d’ a work at which it is fixed at an end, l’ another end being anchored in the ground by grouting of cement.
The tie can be made up:
- by ordinary steel or steel bars high-tensile
- by cables stranded out of steel of the steel type prestressing
- by tended piles (out of reinforced concrete or metal) finished or not by a special device d’ anchoring on the ground - by glass fibers (for d’ a later destruction). This anchoring can be prestressed or passive Réglementation: MT 95
