The STEP V2 WEC was developed for to offer an affordable and practical solution and in the small capacity range from 5kW up to 15kW which will also work in wind-weak areas and inland countries.

-State of the art technology and optimized aerodynamic design
The electronic components (inverters) for the energy quality are adapted to the local operations, to minimize plant costs. Its aerodynamically optimized design obtains a high energy yield even with low wind conditions and can be operated both net-parallel and in island mode. The output voltage is 230V AC with 50Hz or on request as 110V 60 Hz

The advanced design offers low minimum maintenance with high reliability due to is unique. By keeping parts to a minimum and selecting wear-free and continuous lubricated components a once a year inspection and servicing will be sufficient. The system is continuously optimized and improved by DI. L. Hollmann and the team of STEP.

-Start up and set up made easy
The steel mast is available in the heights of 15m and 18m. For the assembly of the mast only a hand-winch is necessary and no further special tools or lifting equipment is required. Transport to is location requires no great infrastructure and can be managed with minimum effort This simple and quick set-up further helps the initial investment and provides an excellent ROI (return of investment)
