The barbecues designed for the Stûv 21, Stûv 30 and Stûv 30-in offer a completely different approach to cooking : the food is placed to cook in front of the flames instead of being placed over the embers. There is no need to wait for glowing embers : just push embers and flaming logs to the back of the hearth. Food will then be exposed to flames that can never lick it. Smells do not spread throughout the house, they go up the chimney.
