Stūv 21 are hearths with a retractable lifting door -or "guillotine door". They are designed to be integrated into the building. the glass door slides upwards and disappears behind the masonry ; the hearth then operates as an open fire. with the glass door lowered, it operates with an excellent heat output in complete safety ; its exceptionally large glass door provides a perfect view of the fire.
