Description

Structural system for multi-storey precast concrete buildings Brooklyn is the anti-seismic structural system that widens and raises precast building horizons. Through a precast frame with rigid connections, with vertical forces opposed to the bending moment, it creates a mutual beam-bracketscolumn connection bond, that surmounts the simple support evolving into a fixed joint. It is a hidden system into structural widths, with dry assembly, and brackets simply inserted into columns. It also permits higher load capacity on structural elements and/or longer spans between vertical load-bearing structures. BROOKLYN SUSPENDED VERSION - one or more cables for each beam - free cable setting and different external force administration - partial or integral post-compression frame - single or multiple spans - bracket with one or two corbels - for medium-long spans BROOKLYN CABLE-STAY VERSION - one or more tendons for each end-beam - active (pre-tensioned) or passive tendons - tendons effectiveness varies according to their inclination - bracket with one or two corbels - for short-medium spans
