Easily meets Building Regulations Each SkyView product is manufactured from our extruded aluminium profile which is thermally broken using multiple polyamide insulating sections and then factory glazed with a 28mm argon-filled and soft coat low E insulating glass unit. With such a high-specification design and build it’s easy to see why the SkyView surpasses Building Regulations with ease. Numerous glazing treatments There are a number of glazing treatment options available to choose from to suit the needs of your project. These range from tinted and obscured glass, ideal for privacy and security, to high performance solar control glass for maximised energy efficiency. The SkyView skylight is available both as a standalone single or multi-pane unit. We also have a range of wall abutting options available. Upstand fitting At Sunsquare we also recommend that each SkyView model is fitted onto an optional fully-insulated Sunsquare Upstand; complete with 5º pitch as standard. An Upstand plays an integral role in ensuring any new skylight fits and fits well. It is essentially a frame for the skylight to sit on, providing enough height from the roof’s surface and enough pitch to allow water run-off from the skylight.
