A monumentally-scaled piece with very deep side returns. It is a contemporary take on the Italian Renaissance-style, which features an elaborately sculpted acanthus scrolled frieze with an ornate central cartouche and heavily sculpted lid and shelf with egg-and-dart and lamb's tongue detailing. An imposing centerpiece for grand-scale entertaining rooms. The Renaissance can be embellished with a complementary overmantel to heights over twenty feet.
