TEAM PAIN
SARASOTA, FLORIDA
The City of Sarasota contacted Team Pain to design and build a 25,000 square foot concrete skate park in an existing recreational park, coincidently named, "Payne Park". The skate park was completed in October of 2003. This facility is separated by three areas and features 11 foot high over-vert corners, just about every skateable radius, pool block, a real back yard pool with death box, love seat, light, and shallow end steps. The street area contains granite benches, back to back handrails, manual pads, banks and ledges. This park has it all and more! The city was more than willing to give us full creative control in the design and construction. The turnout was a super fun facility that is free and constantly has 100 to 120 users at a time! Many thanks to the City of Sarasota.
