ISOLMANT POLIMURO
TECNASFALTI (ISOLMANT)
Product made of Isolmant 5 mm coupled with special needle-punched fiber, produced according to specifications designed to enhance airborne sound reduction, on both sides.
Isolmant Polimuro is recommended for soundproofing in small-size air spaces (ranging from 2 to 4 cm). It reduces noise propagation (as an internal vibration damping product) as well as cavity resonance effects. The Isolmant Polimuro sheet should be fixed to built walls by means of either nylon anchors or an upper lath nailed to the wall. Lay the material uniformly, using the battens for perfect acoustic seal.
THICKNESS: Approximately 12 mm.
AIRBORNE SOUND REDUCTION:
Rw = 54 dB. Double wall soundproofing with 8 cm hollow bricks and 12 cm hollow bricks with pores (3 plaster layers);
Rw = 54 dB. Double wall soundproofing with 12 cm hollow bricks and 12 cm hollow bricks with pores (2 plaster layers).
All values are certified according with EN standards.
NOISE PERFORMANCE: The combination of Isolmant and the layers of needle-punched fiber allows high soundproofing values to be achieved e.g. with low-thickness air spaces with suitably massed walls, because it produces both soundproofing and noise resistance effects.
THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY: λ = 0,0348 W/mK.
COLOUR: Grey.
