At the new Campari Group headquarters in Milan Uniflair has installed approximately 8000 m2 of 600x600mm of calcium sulphate core panels with a self-extinguishing, pvc-free material glued along the panel perimeter. The
panel coverings vary from glazed grès to prestigious natural stones such as “dented” granite. Given the specific technical requirements of the order, which
required a considerable floor mechanical resistance, Uniflair proposed a solution specifically for this project.
The solution foresees the combination of calcium sulphate core panels and a particular controventata tensioning system which both provide support for the heavy vertical and dynamic weight impinging on the floor. This type of
installation totally respects the need for clean and essential environments, both from the choice of materials for the coverings to the actual installment. Access flooring is in perfect alignment with the initial project creating optimal
integration with the multiple, different sized oblique pillars present in the offices along with the strong presence of glass walled windows throughout the building reaching to the internal bar and gym.
