The compressed quartz vinyl tiles called "HOVI" from the Finnish flooring manufacturer Upofloor Oy are since 1949 installed in several public premises like schools, shops, hospitals, offices, warehouses, exhibition centres as well as other heavy duty applications. Due to the unique manufacturing method in the world, the compression technique, the Hovi tiles characterize a compact, dense and very durable surface which in addition is PUR coated. This technique makes the tiles also flexible and non-fragile, which makes the Hovi floorings a very easy to install and a very long lasting flooring solution. There are premises where Hovi tiles are installed 40 years ago and they are still in use! Because of the durable and dense surface of Hovi tiles the floors are also not sensitive for a hard basic maintanance with hard chemicals if needed. The surface does not get damage through such cleaning and thus the flooring is easy renewable! Hovi tiles are available in 2mm thickness and in various designs (less and more contrast) and also in UNI colors. The manufacturing process complies according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and Hovi tiles are in addition CE certified.
