The beautiful, white and shining rings of Saturn, make this planet certainly the most elegant one of the solar system, the last symbol of the absolute perfection of the cosmos. In 1610 Galilelo Galilei pointed his telescope towards Saturn and for the first time understood that the planet was very different from others. Here is his description of the planet: "Saturn is not a single star, its composed of three bodies, almost touching each other, not changing or moving relatively to one another, and arranged in a row along the zodiac, the middle one is three times larger than the other two". The drawing that derived became the inspiration for the development of this suspended object of great effect and harmony, a synthesis and tribute to the elegance and perfection of the celestial body observed and admired, and to the endless curiosity of Galileo.
