Texlon® ETFEperforatedinsulated

This was the first project in the Masdar Initiative’s six million square meter sustainable development that uses the traditional planning principals of a walled city, together with exciting new technologies, to achieve a zero carbon and zero waste community. Master planned by Foster + Partners, the initiative has been driven by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, and will become a centre for the development of new ideas for energy production.The Masdar Institute aims to become a centre of high-calibre renewable energy and sustainability research, capable of attracting leading scientists and researchers from around the world. We installed Texlon® ETFE external layer façade to a high performance insulated aluminium system. Texlon® ETFE was specified as a result on the environmental sustainability aspects of its carbon footprint and also its high insulation value.
