The idea behind the design of the VITEO SOLO collection developed by Wim Segers, is to show tradition in a simple, modern form. It’s not just the uncluttered style: ergonomics and durability also determine the philosophy of the SOLO & SOLO SOFA tables, benches and chairs.
Starting 2009 all items in the series are made completely out of oiled Iroko wood. The wood of this African tree specie is very compact, firm, durable and therefore extraordinarily weather resistant .
All products are offered in a choice of different sizes: tables range from the smaller model for 4 people to the grand garden table measuring 3.60 m in length, which is of course accompanied by matching benches and chairs. Those preferring a lounge style will undoubtedly wish to opt for the lower, extremely comfortable Solo Easy Chair. VITEO also offers a choice of three table heights for customer convenience.
The SOLO SOFA parts stand out due to their modular system which gives one the opportunity to create individual „couchscapes“: That makes it possible to combine Sofa Chairs with one or both , or even without armchairs at all. Sofa stools extend the seating accommodations or are simply used as a table with their overlay removed.
For the comfortable SOLA overlays VITEO uses apart from Xtreme Outdoor Leather also fabrics from the SILVER series which are outdoor- proof due to a special „Water Go – Technology“ and don’t have to be put away in case of bad weather. Eye-catching among these simple, aesthetically pleasing creations are the relatively prominent table, chair and bench legs which lend a modern, extravagant accentuation to the traditional style components of the Solo collection.
