Barcelona and approved by the Greek Fire Department. Vitex Fire Resistant Emulsion Paint is a white waterborne emulsion paint ideal for the protection of walls and concrete surfaces against fire. In fire situations the paint mass expands offering protection to the coated surface. During the fire situation, the material withstands the fire resistant characteristics of integrity and thermal insulation for a long period of time, corresponding to the film thickness of the paint applied. • Certified by LGAI Technological Center S.A. • Approved by the Greek Fire Department FIRE RESISTING ABILITY Vitex Fire Resistant Emulsion Paint is certified by LGAI Technological Center S.A. according to UNE EN 13501-2:2004 standard and is approved by the Greek Fire Department. Taking under consideration the technical characteristics of the substrate and the requirements of UNE EN 31364-1, UNE EN 1363-1 and UNE 13501- 2 standards the product is classified as El 240. This means that the paint protects the coated surface for 240 minutes (4 hours) when is applied on a quantity of 2 Kg/m2 (approximately 1000 microns).
