VELA VITRUM MIONI

Made in a very wide range of rectangular or square based measures, VELA model domes can be fixed directly onto the support kerb or onto an intermediate frame to allow for opening, so the typical lighting function of the skylight combines with the possibility of ventilating the underlying environment. Fastening system with aluminium clamps, which allows fast and safe installation without piercing the dome, which can cause water seepage and breakage.

MATERIALS
The VELA domes are obtained by the thermoforming of the polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or Compact Polycarbonate (PCC) sheets , materials with excellent elasticity and transparency. The Compact Polycarbonate combines this characteristic with a high mechanical resistance, which makes it safe even when faced with exceptional impacts. Both materials, are treated with an anti-UV filter, which prevents yellowing over time, are available in white opal and transparent.
