THE ORIZZONTALI (HORIZONTAL) SMOKE AND HEAT EVACUATION SYSTEM is a skylight equipped with a special automatic opening device, which must be autonomous and not conditioned by the absence of electricity; in case of fire, it is necessary to allow the escape of combustion gases and heat from the environment. These devices are suitable for installation on a flat roof or pitched on a slightly inclined layer, and are designed, manufactured and certified according to standard EN 12101-2:2003 which requires stringent design and operating characteristics.

SIZES
Width: Minimum 80 cm. - Maximum 150 cm.
Length: Minimum 80 cm. - Maximum 250 cm.

MATERIALS
Structure: Natural aluminium frame with galvanized steel opening levers.
Covering: Normally consists of VELA thermoformed dome made of class one Polycarbonate Compact to react to fire, treated with protective filter against UV rays that prevents yellowing over time, and available in white opal and transparent. For measurements for which the mould is not available, it is possible to apply a Custom made Volta-Light skylight.

MODELS
Two different types of horizontal evacuation systems are available:
FIXED SHE, or the base unit that intervenes only in case of emergency;
OPENABLE SHE, which combines the emergency device with the ability to use the evacuation system to ventilate the environment after the application of an electrical opening with piston engines handling, one or two thrust points and a stroke of about 30 cm.
