The first rule is to break all the rules. Isn't it interesting that this rule is what has always inspired the new collections at Viva Ceramica, new ideas that come from people who, just like me, are basically straightforward and, if the truth be known, fairly conservative. But it is true that one of the basic rules in life is continual renewal, those changes which we might be scared of, but which we seek out anyway because they are what makes life exciting, varied and unique.
