Designed by Piero di Pierri and Paola Angeli Bufalini in 1970, this piece is renowned throughout the world for its extraordinary beauty and versatility due to both its diverse uses and its possibility to be combined with other elements. It has been poorly copied and produced by the most famous cane and wicker furniture manufacturers but the “Conchiglia” can proudly maintain its beauty if produced solely in rattan. Covered by international copyright for 40 years, this piece has been the cause of many duly won legal disputes.
