The design of this exclusive living room suite was inspired by S. Mallarmé’s “The Afternoon of a Faune”, as is shown by the materials chosen for its production: from the boar skin or deer leather to the horsehair or palm fibre matting covering the sides and shoulders of this piece.
The god Pan is represented in all his frivolity by the feet of the piece and his cheeky grin engraved in the wood by hand.
