Eclectic style sofa Vivai del Sud Architettura e Alta Decorazione SUPERSTAR
Superstar
This was the first design of upholstered furniture to destabilize the “Milanese school” - B&B, saporiti, Molteni, and many, many others – making way for the “Roman school”, supported by Paolo Portoghesi.
Domus and hundreds of other magazines have dedicated their covers to this piece - the architect Alessandro Mendini was the first to express a thorough opinion, echoed by a general consensus that it broke off from typically uncomfortable architecture!
The “Superstar” is as successful now as it was during its first season and still enjoys constant demand throughout the world.
We are proud of this piece and avoid emphasizing that which is an introduction to comfort for our customers – three cheers for the “Superstar”!
