FilterSense® Technology The Central Water Filtration System utilizes FilterSense® Technology, which allows the media bed to continually filter sediment and chlorine throughout the entire home. This maintenance free system automatically cleans itself every 14 days and can also be programmed to clean itself more or less frequently depending on the water conditions in your area. Reduces Chlorine Taste and Odor The Central Water Filtration System will filter sediment, chlorine and other elements from your water supply. Reduces Sediment The media bed and the screen located in the top of the system work together to remove sediment from your water supply. The system has been tested to filter sediment and other particles to 40 microns. By comparison, human hair is about 75 microns in diameter.
