Mechanical Snowflake Housing

Mechanical Snowflake has been designed for alpine areas and offers unique accommodation solutions for scientists and explorers in remote regions. The building detaches each wing from the central core building and can be hauled by two snow plows to a new destination. All modules are on skis. The central core comprises a double storey domed structure and houses the heating system, communal kitchen, dining and laundry. This building is at the conceptual phase.
