To create its reflective rippled surfaces, European woodcrafters split and meticulously hand match bamboo over solid mahogany, then apply layer after layer of mahogany stain and clear high-gloss lacquer. Hidden spacers make the tops appear to float over the bases. Fully finished. Nightstand has one drawer and a shelf; drawer opens with a hidden finger pull and has smooth, self-closing glides.
