A good insulated building has the intension to “capture” as many warm air as possible, unfortunately this can lead to poor air quality, unpleasant smell and even walls with mildew. To avoid this the air should be regularly changed, new fresh air has to enter, the air of poor quality needs to be exhausted. There are different possibilities to supply fresh air. If you choose to do it the most economical way, the naturel way, Rolvent® is a good option. The objective of the system is in the name : a combination of roller shutters with ventilation and this in a unique built-on system. On the contrary to the closed back plate with the regular built-on roller shutters, there is a self-regulating ventilation grill in the back part. The grille is waterproof and airtight and has 5 different positions. Until the introduction of the Rolvent® it was difficult to combine roller shutters with a natural ventilation system in the windows. The installation of the Rolvent® system offers quiet some benefits : At the outside of the house the ventilation grille is invisible Continuous ventilation, also when the shutter is closed Possible with every type of window An improved acoustic version as option It is possible to operate Rolvent® manually with a tape or electrically with a tubular motor. Also in this system WILMS uses smart motors with an obstacle detection and a frost security. The motor can be driven by a switch or by a fully automated system.
