Gioia Meller Marcovicz has risen to the challenge from Wittmann and created D.O.C. — a line of chairs with an innovative formal language that will win it many admirers. The range comprises a cantilever chair, available with or without armrests, and two swivel chairs.
The cantilever chair marries a well upholstered square seat with a delicate, arched back. The result is a comfortable piece that nevertheless makes a light, dynamic impression and gains added appeal from its well thought-out details. For instance, the backrest is visually highlighted by a quilted leather cover, stretched over elastic backing. The specially finished leatherwork also provides outstanding comfort.
