An inorganic reinforcing mat of durable, high-strength non-woven glass fibres, which is heavily coated and impregnated with SBS modified bitumen to a nominal thickness of 2.2 mm (87 mils). This sheet''s surface is covered with a thin poly-film which disappears upon torch welding of the cap sheet, while the underside is sanded to allow for mopping to heat-susceptible substrates.
